Mr Stephen Lungu is the current president of the Law association of
Zambia which is the governing body of practicing lawyers in
Zambia. During his tenure of office Mr Lungu's team has had to deal
and contend with some of the controversial issues in the nation's
legal and judicial systems.
Mr Lungu joins on the show to give us reflections on the work of
LAZ, ongoing constitution amendment process by the NCC, some
recent controversial judgments in the courts of law, disciplinary
actions which were taken against some association members and
the role of the association in the fight against corruption which was
initiated by one of Zambia's celebrated lawyers the late president
Levy Mwanawasa.
Mr Lungu comes to ZBTR to share and discuss his thoughts on these
