Inc., Promoting the Quality of Medicines Program (PQM), in
Rockville, Maryland.
He will speak about the efforts being carried out under the PQM
program to raise awareness and protect public health through
relevant regulatory and quality capacity building in over 30
countries globally. He will also specifically address the most
recent study - the Quality of Antimalarials in Sub-saharan Africa
(QAMSA) that had received some noticeable media attention.
Dr. Kennedy M. Chibwe received his BSc in Chemistry from the
University of Zambia and went on to do his Ph.D. at Cambridge
University in England. He has spent the last 14 years in
Pharmaceutical industry and was Director of Global Analytical
Operations at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals before moving to
GlaxoSmithKline Inc (GSK) where he was Director of Novel
Analytical Technologies and Automation Development.
